COMPLEX CARE NURSE

Nursing Direct is seeking compassionate and experienced Complex Care Nurses across the West Sussex area to support young people with diverse and complex needs.

We are dedicated to building a skilled team capable of delivering exceptional care for children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and/or challenging behaviours. Care is provided either within the individual’s home or in placement settings, tailored to their specific requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Registered Nurse qualification (valid NMC PIN required).
• Proven experience in managing complex care needs, including challenging behaviours – essential.
• PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training – required.
• Training or experience in medication administration – preferred.
• Expertise in managing conditions related to ASD and learning disabilities – preferred.
• Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks – preferred.
• Competence in supporting personal care, nutritional needs, and establishing positive daily routines.
