CARE SUPPORT WORKER

Nursing Direct is seeking a team of dedicated and experienced Care Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants across the West Sussex area to support young people with a range of needs.

We aim to build a skilled team capable of providing exceptional care for children with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. Care packages are delivered either in the individual's home or within a placement setting, depending on their requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Experience in managing challenging behaviours – essential.
• PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training – required.
• Medication administration training – preferred.
• Experience working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and LD (Learning Disabilities) – preferred.
• Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks – preferred.
• Competence in promoting positive routines, including personal care and nutritional support.
