HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Nursing Direct are looking for Health Care Assistants with Peg-J experience to work on a package of care in Newham, supporting a child with physical care needs and learning difficulties.

Care requirements:

• PEG-J Feeding
• Medication Administration: Enteral and Nebuliser
• Oro-Pharyngeal and Oral Suctioning
• Dystonia Management
• Manual Handling
• Personal Care
• Experience with learning difficulties

Specifics:

• Monday to Sunday -09:00 -21:00
• HCA X 1 during the day to work alongside nurse
• Experience in supporting clients with personal care
• Experience in using a hoist
• Epilepsy awareness ; Anaphylaxis awareness – use of EpiPen

All staff to be fully vaccinated due to extreme vulnerability of client.
